IDR is seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer to join one of our top clients for a remote opportunity. This role involves supporting a state government project focused on system modernization within the public sector, utilizing Salesforce best practices to develop and deploy solutions. The position requires collaboration with various stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver secure, compliant Salesforce applications.

Responsibilities: 

• Design, develop, test, and deploy custom Salesforce solutions utilizing Salesforce development best practices.
• Develop and maintain Apex code including triggers, batch jobs, queueable jobs, and scheduled processes.
• Build and enhance Lightning Web Components (LWC) to support modern user experiences.
• Design and implement integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, Named Credentials, and related technologies.
• Develop automated business processes utilizing Salesforce Flows, Validation Rules, and Formula Fields.
• Manage source control, deployments, and release processes using Salesforce DX (SFDX), VS Code, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement and maintain Salesforce security best practices, including Profiles, Permission Sets, Sharing Rules, and Organization-Wide Defaults (OWD).
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, troubleshooting, and production support activities.

Requirements: 

• 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce Platform Development experience (in the US) 
• Strong expertise with:
  • Apex Development (Triggers, Batch Apex, Queueable Apex, Scheduled Apex)
  • Lightning Web Components (LWC)
  • SOQL/SOSL
  • Salesforce DX (SFDX)
  • REST and SOAP API integrations
  • Platform Events
  • Named Credentials
  • Salesforce Security Model (Profiles, Permission Sets, Sharing Rules, OWD)
  • Salesforce Flows and Process Automation
  • Git-based source control and CI/CD pipelines
• Strong understanding of Salesforce governor limits and platform architecture.
• Experience translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
